I used to think that sand no longer held any secret for me

 

It’s only in 2007 that I discovered the scope of the treasures that could provide this so unusual and fascinating material. 

 

From the Jet-black, of the volcanic relief of Basse-Terre to the luminous white of the limestone plateau of Grande-Terre, sand offers an extraordinary range of colours that frees artistic creativity. 

 

Beyond Guadeloupean beaches, I wish to discover the potential of overseas sand and by doing so, join the passionate group of people who collect sand samples as a hobby, «the worldwide arenophiles».
